"We understand investors are concerned that SodaStream's production might be affected by the recent attacks on Israel. I wish to remind you that our factories have never shut down, whether during the Lebanon war in the summer of 2006 or the more recent and similar situation with Gaza in the winter of 2008-2009. We have operated at our usual full staff and capacity this entire week and plan to continue. The vast majority of our operations employees are not subject to the risk that they will be called up to perform military reserve duty. However, it is important to understand that even if we did need to close the factory we are prepared for this and it would not have an impact on the day-to-day business, for several reasons. We currently have production facilities in China, both company-owned and via subcontractors, and can ramp up production if needed. We also manufacture in various locations in Israel, both in the north, the center and the south. Importantly, our CO2 refilling business, the heart of our model, is managed regionally and not connected to Israel. There are 8 refilling stations worldwide that manage the CO2 exchange system locally. Finally, we keep a healthy safety stock of products in two warehouses, one in the US and one in Holland. So we are confident that our consumers and retail customers will continue to have all of their SodaStream products completely available to them without interruption."

If anyone says they don't care about investors here is proof that they do. Also, don't you think it's funny how the company reports earnings and 4 days later they announce V8. I think they did this purposefully because they know the stock sells-off every earnings report and they wanted to provide some support to it by making the announcement after earnings.

I've been convinced since they threw in the line about considering a stock buyback depending on price action during the CC.

I think it's a silly notion in general that the company doesn't consider shareholder value. The reality is that there is only so much they can do and if the market doesn't accept it...

Now, would someone get this press release to the guys at Seeking Alpha who posted yesterday's item about war risks. I would hope they would highlight the press release, as well.
